There is a very well equipped kitchen and the house is tastefully decorated throughout with all mod cons including a large smart tv and free WiFi. Whether for a short break or weeks stay you can enjoy all that this area has to offer as Calla Beach House makes a great base to tour and sample the beauty of Connemara.

Big John's Cottage, Doohulla, Ballyconneely

Located opposite Doohulla Pier this 3 bedroom cottage is nestled between the Twelve Bens and the Atlantic Ocean, boasting sea views and breathtaking mountain views of the Twelve Pins. You will have a 5 minute walk to the beach, a 5 minute drive to Ballyconneely village and a 10 minute drive to the seaside village of Roundstone. Family friendly, good wifi, Smart TV, ample outside garden space in the most amazing surroundings. The perfect, comfortable base for exploring Connemara and beyond.

Waters Edge

Staying at Waters Edge is the perfect place to relax, wind down and breath the clean fresh Atlantic air, whilst enjoying stunning views across the bay. Located metres from the seat front, with steps down to the beach, just over 1 kilometre to Ballyconneely and also situated between the picturesque towns of Clifden and Roundstone. It provides visitors with plenty to explore and enjoy. The house has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Including two en-suites with under floor heating.

Clifden, The Barn on the Wild Atlantic Way.

The Barn is a unique old stone barn but modern, with an open plan sitting/kitchen/ eating area with cathedral ceiling and a long narrow window overlooking the Salt Lake to one side, a small window looking down to the sea on the other. There are two bedrooms and a wet room style bathroom (no bathtub) but plenty of hot water and underfloor heating. It is wonderfully quiet, a real retreat for those who just want to escape. Little Sea House has spectacular sea views on the wild Atlantic coast in Connemara. Resting peacefully at the end of a private lane, you’ll hear only wind, waves and birds. Relax and watch the light change over the sea, watch the sunset and the stars appear in a sky without light pollution. You have access to the shore with an abundance of scenic walking and beautiful beaches nearby. You are 3 km from the Wild Atlantic Way and near Mace Head which has the cleanest air in Europe.

13th Century Lakeside Castle, 6 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, (Sleeps 10-12) Surrounded by seven acres of lawns, park and woodland, Carraigin Castle is an idyllic holiday home in a beautiful setting on the shores of Lough Corrib. From the Castle one can enjoy boating and fishing, walking, riding and sightseeing, or just relax by the open hearth and contemplate the simple grandeur of this ancient dwelling, a rare and beautiful example of a fortified, medieval “hall house”.

Orchard Cottage is a self-catering detached holiday home close to the picturesque Roundstone Harbour on the Wild Atlantic Way. It is South facing with sea-views and view of Errisbeg Mountain and has an outdoor patio and orchard garden, on a private site. This cottage is suitable for up to 4 people and is furnished and equipped to a high standard.
