Built 180+ years ago, this newly renovated stone cottage is situated in an area locally known as "Up the Glen" just 5 minute drive from Kilcar village. If peace and quiet, Country views, rambling walks or to just look up at the stars is what you are looking for, then this is the place for you! The cottage is wifi and TV free. And with limited phone service in the valley (but can be found close by) its a beautiful place for a digital detox. Many local attractions with in 10-20 minute drive.

2 miles to Cashel, Glencolmcille village (pubs, shop, takeaway, trad music). Sliabh Liag cliffs 15 minutes away. 5 minute drive or 50 minute walk to Glen Beach. Visit Folk Village, Oideas Gael for Irish language, hill walking or just relax! Beautiful scenery, lovely beaches. Wee House has oil-fired heating, satellite TV, books, garden space and board games available. A place to escape from the hustle & bustle. Mobile phone signal is limited due to hills. Close to the beautiful Blue Flag beach at Nairn on The Wild Atlantic Way , this is a renovation of the old cart house at Teach Neilí, which combines the character of the original stone walls with views of Loughfad in a warm, comfortable cottage. The Escape - The Times: Best Irish Cottage Named the best holiday cottage in Ireland (Sunday Times), this traditional Donegal cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way provides privacy, huge open views over the lake in front and picturesque walks to Port. Dogs welcome for an additional fee. WIFI included. Our hillpod rental "Cropod" is at the same location if you need more space - though both properties have privacy and separate entrances.

Our location is central Donegal and is the perfect base for exploring beautiful countryside ,heritage and the Wild Atlantic Way. The cottage is located in Stragally Co Donegal between the towns of Ballybofey and Glenties which offer many shops pubs, restaurants, traditional music etc.

Willie Dans cottage is a (pet friendly) traditional thatched Irish cottage that has been carefully restored and is fully heated with all mod cons. Features such as the bog oak roof, turf fire, flagged stone floor and antique pine furniture create a timeless and relaxing atmosphere. Dan's cottage is featured on the stunning 'Wild Atlantic Way' and is surrounded by breathtaking views of the Urris Hills and beaches.

The Barn

Entire place . Lovely light airy place with sea views, open fire , sleeps 2. Own entrance to entire place panoramic sea views with access to beach from property . Fully equipped kitchen, complimentary tea & coffee and some kitchen basics oil, flour salt pepper. Dining area, sitting room and ensuite double bedroom. Shower room downstairs in our antique shop which is opened 1-5 during the summer months.

Donegal Mountain Lodge

Our rustic small place is located at the end of a quiet, peaceful lane and has unrestricted views of the Derryveagh Mountains in West Donegal. There are no street lights and it is four km from the nearest shop. It is immersed in nature and is suitable for people seeking peace and quiet who value wildlife and conservation. We have wifi but it is not reliable. Phone coverage in the lodge is limited.

Nancy's cottage

Countryside cottage two miles from Doochary a quiet village in West Donegal surrounded by rugged mountains and lovely glens with gweebarra river nearby. Ideal location for touring close to glenveagh national park and derryveagh mountains. 25 minutes drive to Gartan outdoor centre where there are lots of activities kayaking ,canoeing etc.Very popular area for fishing and hillwalking.
