Charming Quirky Cottage - Cliffs of Moher

Quirky elevated cottage called Tigeen, little house in Irish. It is hard to adequately describe the beauty of the setting of this cottage, I fell in love with it before ever being inside. It is totally private without being isolated, it is on its own little hill overlooking the bay of Liscannor and within walking distance to the Cliffs. Inside the walls are 3-foot-thick with the cottage being over 200 years old and has hand -made interior wooden shutters to cover the large light filled windows

Filleadh na Fainleog (Swallows Return)

This beautiful, traditional and historic farm house is filled with a richness of Irish culture, music and folklore. Lovingly restored using original flagstone and ash from trees on its own land. This home offers an unique experience to steep oneself in rare beauty. Filleadh na Fainleog is situated on the edge of the Burren just a 5 mins drive from the market town of Ennistymon and 8 mins from the seaside resort of Lahinch on the Wild Atlantic Way. The majestic Cliffs of Moher is 20 mins drive.

The cottage is a great base to enjoy the music in the Doolin pubs, beach in Lahinch and the harbour village of Liscannor. The cottage dates back to after the famine and has been restored to preserve the original character, complemented by carefully selected period pieces to maintain its authentic charm.
