Our island rests in Sawyer Harbor surrounded by Potawatomi State Park and Idlewild Peninsula. This is a nature lovers haven. It is the perfect place for those that are looking for a quiet, peaceful getaway and up for a bit of adventure. The wooded island is seven acres and home to two cottages—Sunrise (facing Potawatomi, “the emerald wall” as Grandpa Paul fondly named the view) and Sunset (overlooking the Idlewild Peninsula). The cottages are connected by a well traveled path and a short walk.

Eagle Harbor Cottage Loft

Eagle Harbor Cottage Loft has glimpses of the Lake from the Loft! It is a renovated, lake-themed apartment/loft (above detached garage) nestled in the woods behind the owner’s main house. Guests have a private entrance and guest parking space. Guests have access to private dock next to the Lake to relax and enjoy sunsets. Two bicycles and 2 kayaks are available for guest use as well. We invite you to spend time refreshing and reflecting on the beauty and peacefulness of the woods and lake.

A view of Lake Michigan from nearly every room. Perfect location for families or couples vacation. This cottage is tucked away on a wooded lot with an open backyard to enjoy sunshine and shoreline, or take a quick 5 minute drive to downtown Sister Bay.

Enjoy the Door County views as you watch the sunrise, head out for early morning fishing, or just relax and drink your coffee by the water. Tie up your boat to the single step dock or walk right into the private water access. This two bedroom one bath cozy cottage is a dream weekend getaway. Kayaks and life-jackets included.

Ellison Bay Eclectic Style Cottage

Located just minutes from downtown Ellison Bay, this eclectic cottage offers convenience to attractions and dining, while providing a private sanctuary-like experience! The home boasts two (2) master suites- each with private bath, as well as studio above garage (3 bedrooms total). The entire home is furnished with all of the items needed for a true Door County vacation: Firepit/place, bbq, outdoor shower, bocce court, bicycles, and stand up paddle boards! New hot tub! March 11th! 2022!!!!!

Private Boat Launch! Door County Waterfront

Looking for a great get away? Love the water? Sunset Lagoon is perfect! Use the paddle boat or kayaks (included), bring your boat to get out and enjoy the water. Or relax and fish right off the deck! On site private boat launch and docking in a sheltered lagoon connected to Riley’s Bay. When you get back from the beach or fishing, light a fire, roast Smore's or sit on the deck and relax. Put some burgers on the grill and grab a cold one. Enjoy the good life at Sunset Lagoon!

Historic downtown Sturgeon Bay Suite, Door County

After having hosted nearly 400 guests over an 11 year period we have completely upgraded our guest quarters! The new suite is spacious with its own kitchen and with a private bath and laundry. It is in the historic parlor of our 1869 building and accessible from the lobby. The decor is contemporary and comfortable, with all the amenities that allow for a comfortable stay. Located in downtown, across from Fincantieri Bay Ship, a minute walk away from bars and restaurants.

Winding River Cottages-Pine Cone Cottage

The Pinecone Cottage is one of the units at Winding River Cottages on the Menominee. There is one other cottage and one house also on the property. This cottage is directly on the Menominee River, very close to Marinette, WI/ Menominee, MI. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bath, a full kitchen with full-size stainless steel appliances (stove/oven, refrigerator, over-the-stove microwave), and a living area with a 50" TV, chair, and futon, which can convert into a full-size bed.
