Surrounded by tranquil landscapes and towering trees, you’ll enjoy the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. Tucked along a quiet dirt road, the cabin is ideally located 15 minutes from South Haven and 10 minutes from St. Joseph making it close enough for dining, shopping, and activities, yet far enough to unwind in nature’s calm.

Relax w/ wood burning fireplace or fire pit. Hot tub on rear porch is private & pro-maintained (open all year). 5 min drive to Saugatuck, 10 min on bike path.

Lake Michigan Moon Barn

Welcome to your home away from home that we lovingly call the Moon Barn. We are situated in between South Haven and Saugatuck just a mile away from a hiking trail with public access to a Lake Michigan beach. Our home was built in remembrance of a family barn that sat on this location generations ago. It has natural barn wood and art works integrated throughout the house. Downstairs has a complete kitchen, dining area, spacious living room with a gas fire place, full bathroom, and a piano!

Oval Beach Cabin by 500 acre wooded/dune preserve

2 private bedrooms, 2 loft spaces, sleeps 8. Surrounded by conservation and wildlife. It is a rustic and eclectic, recently refinished 70’s cabin. It is surrounded by woods and trails and easily accessed by road. For the adventurous, Oval beach is a 1/4 mile hike through the woods west “as the crow flies” or east is the chain ferry which delivers you to downtown Saugatuck. * Please refer to “Oval Beach and Saugatuck Details” in the description for more details about access to Oval Beach

Retro pink ceramic tiles line an open-plan main floor surrounded by sliding doors. You will be surrounded by the great outdoors while sitting cozy inside by our electric fireplace. Located about 10 minutes south of downtown St. Joe, our Idyllic A-frame is a perfect location for the escape to SW Michigan that you've been dreaming about.

Escape to a peaceful retreat tucked in a wooded community with access to private no-wake Goshorn Lake, yet only 5 min drive to downtown Saugatuck and 10 to Oval Beach. 2 covered porches, indoor fireplace, outdoor fire pit and grill make this a perfect all-season getaway. Thoughtful layout works great for families with kids, gatherings with friends, and romantic getaways. Cabin is also next to a bike path that takes you to town (10 mins) Beach (20 mins), or Hiking (20 mins).

Cabin in the Woods

The cabin is nestled to the back of the 3.6 acres of a private wooded land with a short walk to the all sport lake. The updated home features two bedrooms, sleeping loft, family room, washer/dryer, all the amenities of home. Enjoy the 160 ft of lakefront off our private dock. We have 2 kayaks, a Canoe and a small fishing boat, floaties and life vests for boating or swimming. Enjoy a day at the lake, cook dinner on one of our grills and enjoy the evening by the firepit.

This recently remodeled home features 2 bedrooms on the main floor and a loft accessible via a spiral staircase. The back yard is the perfect spot to enjoy wildlife from the deck or a campfire in the evening. You'll love the privacy and peacefulness of this property! Also only 15 minutes north to Grand Haven and 15 minutes south to Holland.
