A quiet country setting in North East MD..located on a 7 acre horse farm with easy access to I95. Enjoy all the serenity of the country yet close to the shopping, marinas, and within 50 mile access to Baltimore, Wilmington and Philadelphia. The property is also within 30 minutes of Fair Hill Natural Resources Area with 5,500+acres and 80+ miles of trails for hiking, biking, and beautiful scenery. Pets are allowed. A pet (dog/cat) fee of $5/night/pet will be requested the day of your arrival.

This cozy, recently renovated home has the charm of days gone by. It is located with-in a 5 minute walk to the grounds of Washington College and a fifteen minute walk to Historic Downtown. There is an abundance of food and other conveniences close by. A perfect place to unwind and relax. A 20 minute drive to Rock Hall. Take in the beautiful Chester River and Chesapeake Bay area. Fishing, hiking and other outdoor activities to be enjoyed. Newly furnished rooms and fully stocked kitchen.

The Beach Cabin, NO WI-FI

This private room is small, basic and rustic. Nestled in the back of the property, it offers a comfy queen bed, AC, small heater, a mini fridge, Keureg style coffee maker, in room toilet, outside shower and sink with hot water, private patio, clean linens and towels. Backyard has sitting areas and chimnea with firewood provided. Quiet neighborhood. Bethany Beach -10 min drive, Rehoboth-25 min. Beach gear available. TY. On the way to The Townsend, you'll pass roadside farmstands and open fields. This meticulously restored farmhouse, located on the Cohansey River, features waterfront views in every room in the house so you can unwind, reflect and enjoy the company of family and friends. Outside you'll find a fire pit, hot tub and large field, perfect for outdoor activities. A quick 3 mile drive takes you to the historic town of Greenwich. Idyllic water views framed by a canopy of oak trees. Enjoy nature as you relax outside by the fire pit or stroll down to the ‘point’ to take in wildlife, or take a kayak out to explore the creek and water fowl. Deer come up through the woods and are often spotted on the property.

Recently refreshed throughout, the home blends its 1860s character with thoughtful modern updates, including a brand new kitchen, all new operable windows with screens, updated baths, and custom window treatments throughout. The result is a peaceful, comfortable river house that feels considered without feeling precious.

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay on the farm. You will see horses, cows, goats, chickens & ducks. Family friendly. Animals roam the property & are safe to pet. You will hear many farm noises such as roosters crowing, cows mooing & more. This home is located in the country & a min of 5 miles from stores and shopping.
