Relaxing Country Home: Wide Open Spaces

Our relaxing country home has spectacular sunset/sunrise views and amazing views of the stars in the night sky.The peaceful location, surrounded by rolling farm land, makes for the perfect place to stay. It is also surrounded by the best hunting and fishing locations in the Mid-west.The house is located only 10 miles from Lovewell State Park, 10 miles from the Jamestown Marsh Wildlife area, and 40 miles from Waconda Lake . Also, Belleville, Beloit and Concordia are all within a 30 minute drive.

Highway House rural home, private & large area.

We call this rural acreage the highway house. It's located in the country with ample parking available. It also is wonderfully accessible to numerous hunting locales for hunters. It's within 10 miles to the Kirwin Wildlife Refuge, and there's great hunting opportunities for deer, pheasant, and other wildlife nearby. The house is located directly off highway 36, so the roads are always accessible. Large flat screen tv with ROKU, and Wifi are provided. Several recliners in living room area.

Parliament Place

Parliament Place is a charming country brick structure built in the early 1950's. It is intended to be a quiet retreat from the hustle & bustle of city life where one can stay secluded, watch movies on the large screen TV , connect your computer or take a walk. The third bedroom doubles as a game room or as we call it, the "rest" room where one can read a book, play cards, put a puzzle together or as the title suggests, simply just relax and take a nap in the basket chair or on the twin bed.

Hunters Hideaway

Hunters Hideaway was designed for people who love the cabin feel while still located in town. Located in North Central Kansas- just 1 mile from the Waconda Lake (5 Miles from Glen Elder State Park). You can easily get to it through rain or shine. We do allow pets! We love our hunting dogs and consider them part of the family so it only makes sense to allow our guests to bring theirs! We do have a $15 pet fee and also require a signed waiver to ensure our lodge is well kept for each guest!

Bird cabin, The Looney Bin

We have 5 twin bed cabins which have five different themes. All twin cabins have 2 twin beds with one Extra Long twin. All have showers, toilets, vanities, Microwaves, mini-fridges, tables with chairs, small flat screens, wifi, linens, soap and shampoos. All cabins have been renovated in the last 4 years. We are located in North Central Kansas six miles from Waconda Lake 12,500 acres. We have parking for boats, horse trailers, and motorhomes on our adjacent 1.5 acre “Shady Grove”.

Elm Street Lodge

Elm Street Lodge, located just one block from Main Street, is centrally located and is within walking distance to anything you will need for your stay. It features an open floor plan with beautiful original hardwoods and molding throughout the house. Just 20 minutes from the nearest lake where you will find great fishing as well as waterfowl hunting. North Central KS is also home to some of the best deer, turkey and upland bird hunting you can find.

Emilie's Heritage House-Tranquil 1912 Home

Emilie's Heritage House is a 1912 fully restored spacious home with all the modern comforts! Step back in time with antiques and family heirlooms.The bedrooms each have a story. The upstairs sitting room is a tranquil retreat! Sylvan Grove is a quiet prairie town in Post Rock Country, near Wilson Lake & just a few miles off I-70! A serene retreat for weary travelers & lake escape for friends & family!

The Ball Of Twine Inn

Cozy 1-bedroom stay in Cawker City! Sleeps 4 with a queen bed + queen hide-a-bed. 2 cots if you don’t want to sleep together. Enjoy a full kitchen, relaxing patio, and unbeatable location—coffee shop next door, World’s Largest Ball of Twine across the street, and just minutes from Waconda Lake and Glen Elder State Park. Perfect for fishing, hunting, or a peaceful getaway. Pets welcome ($20.00 fee).

Fishing and Hunting Getaway!!

Whole house available for you and up to 6 guest total. There is a traeger grill available to use if needed. Washer and dryer is available for washing clothes. One full bathroom with a tub/shower. Plenty of parking and there are two additional building on the property available if needed. Coffee pot available, paper plates, and utensils available for our guests as well.

Kieffer Home and Bunk Room

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for fun. We offer 2 bedrooms with 3 beds and a detached bunkroom/mancave with 2 twin beds. Fully operating kitchen and 1 and a half bath. We do have an onsite washer and dryer. We are located 5 miles from Waconda Lake. Pet friendly.
