Beautiful semi-detached barn conversion professionally designed to a high standard, offering modern comforts whilst retaining an authentic feel. Situated in the grounds of the owner’s working farm, who are on hand to offer advice on the local area, the cottages are in an excellent central location on the Tipperary/Offaly border, almost equidistant from the picturesque town of Birr, 7½km, and one of the oldest towns in Ireland, Roscrea, 6km, and a 2km drive from Gloster house and wedding venue.

The cabin has a double bed and a sofa bed ideal for children or young teenagers. an additional air mattress can be placed in the mezzanie, please request this if required. Enjoy the quiet setting located 5mins walk from Whitegate Beach, Lough Derg. You can enjoy short walks 5km or long walks up to 15km within the Whitegate region. The Cabin is cosy ideal for a couple to sit back and relax. You have many options available within a 5km radius to enjoy a nice meal and a bottle of wine or a beer.

The Bird's Nest at Blackthorn Lane

The Bird's Nest is a stone built former cow barn built in the 1700s with a modern second floor. Ideal for walking routes, great local restaurants/pubs and a whole lot of relaxing. Surrounded by fields and farmland with a private garden space, you will be sure to unwind if you want to stay local. A beautiful swimming, kayaking and picnic area is a short stroll down a quiet road to Whitegate beach. Easy access to Galway, The Burren, Ennis, Limerick. Fiber broadband. Yard CCTV. The cottage is set in a lovely southfacing courtyard set amidst farm and woodland, and only 50 mins drive from Shannon airport. It features a roll top bath, log burning stove and also has high speed fiber internet. The cottage has just been revamped and has high quality bed linen and towels to ensure that extra bit of luxury. Two miles from village with pub/restaurant and local shop with bakery. Close to lough Derg, beautiful walks and Ritual sauna by the lake. Homemade scones on arrival.

A 1.5 bedroom traditional cottage that is attached to our main house but separate & private. It has all you need for a restful, wonderful stay in a fabulous part of East Clare. There is tons of old world character yet it’s also has a fast fibre broadband for those who need to stay connected or for nights in watching Netflix. The property is close to some great pubs and restaurants and the stunning Lough Durg with wonderful walks and lots to do in this part of Ireland. Also we love dogs! 🥰

Charming 15th Century Castle

Built in the late 1400s, Grantstown Castle has been lovingly restored and mixes medieval architecture with modern comforts. The Castle Is Rented In Its Entirety and caters for up to Seven Guests. The castle is comprised of six floors, connected via a stone and oak spiral staircase. There are three double bedrooms and one single. The castle has great battlements which are accessible at the top of the staircase and host amazing views of the surrounding countryside.
