Set on 2 hectares of beautiful gardens, with fruit trees, vineyards & surrounded by mountains. Sip a glass of chilled wine and enjoy the beautiful sunsets from the large balcony with one of the best views! Cool off in the dipping pool and relax in the tree shaded pool area or on those wet winter days curl up next to the indoor fireplace. Property is gated, guest have there own access and free to roam the property. We like to give guest there own space, however either myself or a staff member are always available and happy to help. Nestled between towering mountainscapes and enduring vineyards, this property is situated in Franschhoek, a town known for its world-class dining, wine tasting, and natural beauty. Visit the Huguenot Memorial Museum to learn about local history. Uber is recently available in Franschhoek but does have a limited presence (after 11pm/12pm). There is also a tuk tuk taxi available, please view enclosed information for contact. Please note there is a friendly young rescue dog that roams freely on the property. A little forest in the heart of the Winelands cuddles this secret gem #jangroentjiecottage close to a dam fed by the fynbos covered Helderberg. a Selfcatering hideaway that sleeps two with a fireplace, braai and a woodfired hottub. Within walking distance from Taaibosch, Pink Valley and Avontuur Wine and stud farm. Just across the R44 Ken Forrester Wines is luring. For the outdoor enthusiasts Helderberg provide trails for hiking and mtbiking and our dam covers swimming, rowing and sundowners.

Lily Pond

Lily Pond, is a luxurious guest house just an hour and a half from Cape Town. Lily Pond is set on a natural pond brimming with incredible bird life, creating a serene atmosphere unmatched anywhere else. With no other cottages in sight and located on a picturesque wine farm, it offers a rare blend of privacy and luxury. The self-catering unit is conveniently located for outdoor enthusiasts as it's surrounded by both mountain biking/hiking routes, wine farms and great local restaurants. An absolute paradise for birdwatchers. Also, an ideal breakaway far enough from city noises yet close enough to popular amenities. The unit also has its own lush green lawn to enjoy a picnic.

Akademie House - your home from home

Modern, newly renovated and decorated house situated within walking distance to the main road. Double storey home and big living spaces, great views deck, pool and fantastic outside living space - perfect for a family holiday. The 3 rooms in the house are ensuite with fresh crisp linen and there is an extra ensuite bedroom next to the pool. The modern kitchen is well equipped, open plan and interactive. Great news is we have an inverter for lights and power to assist during load shedding.

La Vieille Cure

LaViellie Cure in one of the oldest house in Franschhoek, built earlier than 1850 and declared National Monument in 1981. The cottage has its own private entrance and cozy courtyard with mountain view and pergolas at the front and back patios. The inside is characterised by a spacious open studio that retains the historical features with an added touch of modernity. The historical cottage is at walking distance from restaurants and from the wine tram station and many others amenities!!

Blueberry Hill Cottages - Lavender - Franschhoek

Lavender Cottage is a modern three bedroom self catering cottage with three bedrooms, main ensuite and the other two bedrooms share a full bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen with cooker, microwave and Nespresso coffee maker. The cottage has its own private terrace overlooking the large rim flow pool. The pool is situated on it's own large terrace and is shared with Olive cottage. We are ideal for guests who enjoy wine tours, the outdoors, hiking and biking plus horse riding.

Situated on a small holding 5km outside Franschhoek, opposite the exquisite La Motte Wine Estate, Heidi’s Barn offers the perfect self-catering base from which to explore the Winelands. A fire pit, outdoor dining area and a large swimming pool (shared with one other cottage) are perfect for summertime relaxation while an indoor wood-burning fireplace and wooden floors throughout make for a cosy winter escape. The barn runs on mains power with solar back up for load shedding.
