Bring your family and friends to this lakeshore home on 2 wooded acres. Swimming, sailboat, canoe, kayaks, paddle boards, rowboat available for use on quiet lake with screened gazebo at shoreline. Large open family room with fireplace, kitchen, dining, sunroom. Complete kitchen including dishes, silverware, wine glasses, blender, coffee grinder, dishwasher. Large deck with table, chairs and gas grill. Upper level game room with ping pong, darts, Wii video games, pinball. Fun for everyone!

Riverwood Hideaway

This off-grid, solar powered hideaway is on the Knife River just a few miles outside of Two Harbors, Minnesota. The cabin itself is loaded with comfort. A full kitchen, propane refrigerator, solar powered lights and a gas fireplace/furnace offer the conveniences of home. There is an outhouse and firewood for the outdoor firepit. You will have to bring your own water for drinking, but we provide hand and dish washing water at the sink. We have coffee with pour over utensils, dishes, spices.

Our cabin is certified as Net Zero Ready through the DOE and was designed and built by Timberlyne.

Where to go for that peaceful retreat? Look no further than our humble gîte! Sip coffee on the porch, feel the breeze and hear the wind among the trees. Adventures by day: hike, fish or day trip to Grand Marais! The bike trail puts much in reach, jog to Gooseberry, bike to Split Rock, or stroll to Thompson Beach. In the evening the full kitchen is a dream for a foodie, or head fifteen minutes to a brewery. Before bed put up your feet, play a game, read a book, or doze by the fireplace’s heat.

Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. Come enjoy the North woods in our beautiful little cabin. This cabin is a located in a perfect spot only 2 miles outside of Iron River. Close to tourist areas such as Duluth, Bayfield, Ashland and more. This cabin is the perfect get away. The Brule river is only 8 miles away and can make for the perfect day trip in a kayak or canoe. This cabin comfortably fits 2-4 people! You can enjoy the outdoors at the fire pit or the 3 season porch that gives you the perfect indoor/outdoor feeling!

Secluded on 16 acres, with your own beachfront, enjoy the peace and relaxation of Kitchigami Lodge. Take in dramatic sunsets and soaring eagles, sitting upon the bluff mirador. Share stories by the firepit and play games in the sunroom. BBQ with family and friends and enjoy the bubbly swim spa. Duluth, two state parks and ski resorts are only 30 minutes away. Visit Bayfield & the Apostle islands on a day trip! Relax with friends and family and create memories that last a lifetime!

Romantic Forest Cabin, Sauna, Trail to Beach

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

The cabin features a sauna, a beautiful stone shower, two bathrooms and a tub. The south side of the land runs along the knife river with an overlook, perfect for the sunrise.
