Location is the key with this beautiful home! Nestled quietly in the woods on the base of Spirit Mountain. Walk out the back door and enjoy a multitude of things to do including mountain biking, down hill skiing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, hiking, and much more. Across the street is the Munger Trail for those that prefer to bike and hike on pavement. The St. Louis River is located right down the road for boating, fishing, or kayaking. Lake Superior is within a short 10 minute drive.

Classic Vintage Log Cabin on Lake Superior

Classic, Vintage Log Cabin on 2.5 acres right on Lake Superior - a cozy step back in time! 250 ft. of private bedrock shoreline. 3 Bedrooms: 2 Queen, 1 Dbl. 3/4 bath, kitchen, and indoor wood burning fireplace. Outdoors: both gas & charcoal grills, firepit, firewood, a swing & picnic table. You'll see birds at the feeder right outside your window, plus plenty of deer and eagles right out the front window. The nightly fee is for 2 adults. There's a $10 fee/night/each additional guest.

Treat yourself to a deluxe stay in this quiet, newly constructed cabin with picture windows, screened porch and barrel sauna. Enjoy long days and sunsets at Corny Beach, a 10 min walk from the cabin along a nature trail. Visit Bayfield 20 min away or take in the quirky, small-town of Cornucopia and then come home and take a sauna in this peaceful forest! The cabin has an occupancy limit of 2 adults and one dog ($50 pet fee). A SUP board is stored near the beach for guests in summer.

Our 80-foot bridge to a private island on a pond is a perfect setting to read a book or play cards with some friends. Our unique custom basement bar and surrounding intimate spaces will keep you at ease.

Upon your arrival to Buffalo Valley you will receive a warm welcome with an escort to your house by the host, in the beautiful north woods. At check in you will receive a key to the cabin. (Please note that the house capacity is 6 guests, no exceptions. We also have a NO pet policy.) There is a guide book that gives you all the information you will need. You will love how remote you are, yet so close to town. Enjoy the fire pit and sauna in the comforts of the wilderness!

Close to Agate & Burlington Bay Beach, and favorite local spots such as Black Woods Bar & Grill, Castle Danger Brewery and Betty's Pies. Visit the iconic Gooseberry Falls, Split Rock Lighthouse, Tettegouche & Temperance River. Unwind by the fire pit or relax in the outdoor barrel sauna in private backyard.

A unique, octagon, cedar log cabin, situated on 40 secluded wooded acres. A short hike over the Sucker River on a storybook foot bridge to a generous deck which surrounds the cabin. You will need to be physically fit to stay here. You must climb a steep ladder to the loft and do a 2ft step to get off the deck to the marshy land below for making a fire. Also bring a sense of adventure! Wildlife is very near. We do not allow animals or smoking of any kind, sorry.

We are located 5 miles off lake Superior near some of the best outdoor activities MN has to offer: Gooseberry Falls (13min), Split Rock (20min) and Stewart river (3mi) for trout fishing.

Thoughtfully remodeled, historic farm house with new amenities including Game Room, Fully Stocked Kitchen, and Washer/Dryer. Comfortably sleeps 6, but up to 10 guests can stay.
