It is completely off grid so no tv or sockets only usb charging points in the bedroom. The lodge is pet friendly (max 2 medium dogs) for free sits in its own grassed fenced area on our 12 acre smallholding . We are situated close to the Galloway forest which is the famous for its starry dark skies and also has great mountain biking and walking close by.

Relax in the large hot tub taking in the clear dark skies at night.

Dumfries' museums are also treasure troves for uncovering the local history including Robert Burns.
