Our secluded, modern, spacious, one bedroom retreat is located at the foot of the Grampians. Kick back and relax in this calm and cozy space. Enjoy the peace and quiet, surrounded by the Grampians National Park. Sleep soundly in the king-sized bed, or enjoy a soak in the freestanding bath and watch the wildlife jump past. Our retreat is the perfect spot for a quiet getaway. We are located 5 minutes from Halls Gap, and close to all the Grampians has to offer including local wineries.

Gariwerd walks are a 10 minute stroll away, as is good coffee, the local brewery and the eateries of Halls Gap. Come and connect!

Conveniently situated 12km from pretty Dunkeld, the southern gateway to the Grampian mountains, and 23km from Hamilton. ‘Firgrove Retreat’ is on a working sheep farm with stunning views to Mount Abrupt and Mount Sturgeon. The unit is stylish and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen, spacious bathroom and comfortable couch with wall mounted TV. Firgrove homestead is set in a lovely, well established garden and is adjacent to the retreat.

Walter and Sarah’s cottage

Modern country style cottage constructed on the foundations of the original 1890’s cottage built by the first members of our family to immigrate from England. Walter and Sarah’s cottage is located walking distance from the town centre (including The Royal Mail/Wickens Restaurant), and the picturesque Dunkeld arboretum. World class hiking trails in the Grampians National Park are also only a short drive.

Swampgum Rise Halls Gap

The whole group will enjoy easy access to everything from this centrally located house. Swampgum Rise is suitable for singles, couples, families and groups. It is convenient to Halls Gap village restaurants and bars as well as close to many of the hiking trails. The house is showing its age a little (built in late 1970s), but it is cosy and homely. Special discount applies for more-than-one-nighters.

Yuppeckiar Cabin, Glenthompson-Dunkeld
