The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Javalina is a romantic stone house surrounded by lots of nature. A fresh breakfast is delivered to your door each morning for your maximum comfort. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor stone bath beneath the trees, with bath pillows provided for extra coziness. The unique pool, framed by magnificent trees, offers breathtaking views of the Douro Valley. Embrace the romance at Javalina with heartfelt conversations, a good book or a game night over a cup of tea, all in our snug, inviting interior.

The Beach House

No cleaning fees. The Beach House is less than 15 min. from Digby & The Pines Golf Course. It is the perfect base for your whale watching trip, exploring Annapolis, Kejimkujik, Bear River or Digby Neck, but make sure you leave time to relax on the deck. Watch the fishing boats come and go, you may even see whales. Comb our rocky, cobblestone shoreline for sea glass or that special rock. Swim our cold, clear water if you dare! Digby is a fishing port so there is always lots to see there too.

The Art House is set in a Sculpture Park developed by the artists Tom and Carol Holmes.The Parks 38 acres of rolling hills, grass land with valley views are bordered by two streams and woodlands.The views are magnificent.The house is set on the second tier of three rolling hills.Tom creates magical and life changing experiences in the landscape; at EBC Bird Sanctuary Sculpture Park. The Art House offers exceptional privacy, incredible quiet and extensive wildlife. A pristine experience awaits.

In-Town Norwich 1.5 miles to Hanover/Dartmouth

Located in the center of Norwich, this modern townhome-style accommodation is a wing attached to our residence. Enjoy your upstairs master suite + office/2nd bedroom, downstairs "café" and all-season sunroom. Relax with a view to the garden and woods beyond. We are 1.5 miles to Hanover/Dartmouth, and 1.0 mile to King Arthur Baking. Our street is part of the Appalachian Trail, and you will be near many Upper Valley attractions. We live onsite and are available to assist you upon request.

This house is an ideal base to explore the hidden gem that is the North East of England; discover the Durham Dales and Northumberland, visit the nearby cities of Newcastle/Sunderland, or, even closer 10 mins drive from Beamish Museum. Countryside views from every window, the surrounding grounds and woodlands are peaceful and relaxing.

1832 Historic Washington Bottom Farm Log Cabin

Welcome to our renovated 1832 Log Cabin on the grounds of the George William Washington and Sarah Wright Washington 19th century plantation. The cabin was the first structure built. Then came barns and slaves’ quarters (no longer standing). The dairy barn is now a woodworking shop and the bank barn was recently restored. The main house, built in 1835, is Greek Revival style. Today, our 300+acre is Certified Organic. We border the South Branch of the Potomac River. It’s ALMOST HEAVEN !

Hunter mountain and Tannersville are only 10 minutes away with skiing, shopping and plenty of places to eat and drink. Our spot is the perfect location to explore the Catskills or kick back, relax, and enjoy the views.

A small but cozy bungalow on a quiet property bordering a state park. Explore river towns along the Delaware including Frenchtown, New Hope and Lambertville. FRESH BAGEL DELIVERY included on first morning. It offers private parking (next to front door), EV charger for electric vehicles, QUEEN-SIZE bed, kitchenette and heated floors in bed & bath. Take a morning walk along the canal, enjoy a quiet dinner outside at the table for two, then end the night relaxing by the chiminea.
