The Artist Cabin at Lac La Belle

The Artist Cabin is a small one room cabin located on the AVAGUE gallery property in Lac La Belle, Michigan. AVAGUE is a visionary art gallery open to the public. The Artist Cabin is a place for mature art-minded individuals and couples that are looking for a lakefront lodging experience. Rotating art exhibits will be featured on the walls of the cabin throughout the year. This studio cabin requires a walk across the street to use your private bathroom. Please do not book if this is an issue.

Home on MTU XC Ski Trails

Located on the Michigan Tech XC Ski Trails, you can ski out the back door. Take a short ungroomed trail to the classic ski trails, or walk down the road to the Mill Road TrailHead to access premier skate skiing trails. We have a ski waxing station in the garage, including a table, vise, waxing iron, scrapers and brush) so you can wax your skis. Just bring your preferred wax. Lastly, three sets of Tubbs snowshoes come with the home. Enjoy winter right from your backyard in a home away from home.

Our home is great for 6+people, families with children welcome. We're close to Mt Ripley, Mt Bohemia and MTU. We are 1 mile from Swedetown cc ski/bike trails and sledding, and 1/4 mile from snowmobile trails. Less than 5 miles from Lake Superior. We are the perfect spot to start your trip North to wonderful Eagle & Copper Harbor and Brockway Mountain. Enjoy the wonderful views of the Lake, the Keweenaw, and relax in our cozy home. This is a clean, cozy and efficient lower level guest studio room within our home that sleeps two people. It is a perfect launch pad to outdoor activities. There is a half bath on this level as well as a sauna with shower. This is an ideal location for those seeking close and easy access to the Swedetown Trails as well as a centralized location to enjoy all the Keweenaw has to offer. We are located 13 miles from Michigan Tech, 28 miles from Mount Bohemia, and 35 miles to Copper Harbor.

Osceola #13 Mine House

This historic 1916 built home was built in the shadows of the Osceola #13 mine shaft. Enjoy views of the mine from the comfort of the living room. This home was extensively remodeled in the last year, with all new furniture 03/23. It boasts 3 large bedrooms and 1 full bath. Large yard for events and parking. The back of the property is accessible to the main trail system. It is a few hundred feet away from the nearest gas station so filling up snowmobiles, ATVS/UTV's is a breeze.
