Historic and Elegant Suite in a Former Ryokan

Travel back in time at Kinse: a unique former ryokan with a 250-year history. Please read through entire listing carefully to make sure our place is a good fit for you. This private suite spans the 2nd floor. AC units in bedrooms and living room, soaking tub, futon bedding, and tatami floors. Please note: NO kitchen/laundry Located in a quiet neighborhood in south-central Kyoto, 7 min walk to Umekoji Kyotonishi station on the JR line. Good access to most Kyoto sights via transit and bicycle.

Embrace the “slow life.” The space is a renovated private bungalow next to our main house. Surrounded by trees and quiet, it's an oasis to unwind, unplug, have lazy breakfasts and nap in the hammock. For more active travelers, it's a good base to explore the area. We are 9 km from Shimanto City restaurants and shopping and an easy drive to activities on Shimanto River or the beach. We do require a 2-night minimum but highly encourage you to slow down and stay longer.

숙소 코 앞에 펼쳐진 푸른남쪽 바다의 윤슬과 수평선이 감동으로 다가 옵니다. 푸른 잔디밭과 야자나무의 넓은 정원 공간이 힐링 그자체입니다. 캐노피가 있는 침대와 하얀색 루버로 분리되어 있는 거실 공간과 파우더룸 그리고 통창으로 밖의 야자나무 숲이 한 눈에 들어오는 욕실의 욕조. 개별 샤워 부스와 화장실이 있는 욕실은 또 하나의 힐링 포인트입니다. 하나하나를 모두 사진에 담아 내기가 역부족입니다.
