Nestled in a secluded glen surrounded by mountains and forest, comfortable family holiday accommodation in a detached cottage. Close to the Galloway Forest park, an excellent base for walking, mountain biking and star gazing due to the dark skies. The famous Southern Upland Way walking route is accessible on foot from the cottage along with other beautiful hill walking, including some impressive peaks with breathtaking views. Streams and pools nearby for paddling and wild swimming adventures.

We supply electricity on a fair use policy, if you use up all that is provided you may have to top up the supply using the top up meter in the property

Duck Pond Cottage

Duck Pond Cottage Sleeps 2 – 1 large king size bedroom The single storey cottage is situated near the courtyard on the Cloncaird Castle Estate. This is an ideal cottage for a couple and it is all set on the ground floor. The bedroom has one super king-size double bed. The is an en-suite shower room, with basin and WC. The open plan living area includes the kitchen. This is a perfect place to relax and warm the toes after a day spent exploring the grounds.

Crawfordston Cottage is situated in rolling countryside. It's secluded and peaceful but within easy access of Ayr, Girvan, Prestwick and Troon. Perfect for couples who want to explore the area or just relax and unwind. Close by is Culzean Castle, the beautiful Ayrshire coast, Robert Burns Museum, the Dark Sky Park, Galloway Forest Park and Ayr Racecourse. There are also some world-class golf courses. Kirkmichael has an excellent pub, café, shop and bowling green.

Tastefully renovated charming country cottage in the Ayrshire countryside. Comfortably sleeps 6. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry area with washing machine and drier. Dining room, 2 sitting rooms. Two bedrooms have own en-suite shower room and there is a bathroom with bath beside the third bedroom. Private deck with large hot-tub and seating and BBQ area. Shared games room and tennis court with one other cottage. Ample parking - off road.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

Six bedrooms sleep twelve, ideal for families. Relax and watch the sunset!

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds.

Wee Bothy at Carnell Estates

Dog-friendly, the Wee Bothy is within the gardens of a 2000 acre working estate in open countryside yet only 10 mins to Kilmarnock, 15 mins to Ayr & Troon and 30 mins from Glasgow. Quietly located by the potting sheds, alongside the walled garden, the cottage is cosy and is set up for every eventuality and is a home away from home if you're here to work.
