Nestled in a secluded glen surrounded by mountains and forest, comfortable family holiday accommodation in a detached cottage. Close to the Galloway Forest park, an excellent base for walking, mountain biking and star gazing due to the dark skies. The famous Southern Upland Way walking route is accessible on foot from the cottage along with other beautiful hill walking, including some impressive peaks with breathtaking views. Streams and pools nearby for paddling and wild swimming adventures.

Southside Cottage provides an excellent self catering experience near Troon in Ayrshire, Scotland, offering privacy within the peaceful surroundings of the countryside. The bungalow offers spacious accommodation for up to 6 people. It is close to excellent amenities within local towns and is well connected to major road networks for exploring further afield. The bungalow is very well maintain and extremely well equipped providing a relaxing and comfortable home from home experience.

The Haven and Summer Hoose are a cosy yet spacious cottage and quirky cabin that come hand in hand. The Haven cottage itself oozes charm with log burner and all the home comforts you could hope for. The Summer Hoose, a stunningly stylish cabin that’s the perfect place to retreat beside the fire, drink in hand and record player on. Nestled on Main Street in the picturesque village of Straiton they are just a stones throw from the local amenities. Sorry strictly no pets.

Sunnyside Cottage, Straiton

SA-00195-F Charming 250 year-old Main Street cottage set in the conservation village of Straiton (Ayrshire), part of the Galloway & Southern Ayrshire UNESCO Biosphere. This characterful cottage has a homely feel with spacious rooms. Being on the main street the property is ideally situated for the village community shop, The Buck (coffee shop), The Black Bull (pub), church, playpark and local bus-stop. The cottage has recently undergone refurbishment and decoration.

Tastefully renovated charming country cottage in the Ayrshire countryside. Comfortably sleeps 6. Well equipped kitchen with dishwasher, laundry area with washing machine and drier. Dining room, 2 sitting rooms. Two bedrooms have own en-suite shower room and there is a bathroom with bath beside the third bedroom. Private deck with large hot-tub and seating and BBQ area. Shared games room and tennis court with one other cottage. Ample parking - off road.

Country village cottage.

Dunlop is only 1/2 hour drive to some of Ayrshires top golf courses. The train takes less than 30 mins to Glasgow city centre. The village has a community pub, a community cafe(open Thursdays and Fridays for morning coffee and lunch. A newsagent, post office/ shop and an Artisan Bakery ( openThursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday.) A new craft shop has also recently opened next door to our home. The nearest supermarket is 10 mins. drive away.

Fairy Cottage

Fairy Cottage is a self contained, fully equipped detached cottage, set in private grounds with private parking. Private patio area with garden furniture. Quiet and peaceful on a summer's evening. High Chair and travel cot available on request. Additional day guests only permitted with prior permission and an extra charge may be incurred. Our cottage has a capacity of a maximum of four people sharing two beds.

Burnside Cottage

Sleeps 4 – 1 large double bedroom and 1 twin bedroom (Can also be made as 2 double bedrooms) Situated next to a burn and with a private garden, the cottage is ideal for a small family to enjoy a Scottish break away. The living accommodation is accessed by four internal steps and features a farmhouse-style kitchen with a Belfast sink. An excellent cottage for a family holiday in magnificent surroundings.

Blackside Cottage - A Luxury Rural Retreat

A traditional Scottish cottage, tastefully modernised, sitting 850ft above Ayrshire at the end of its own farm track. Complete peace and quiet with no traffic and no light pollution. One bedroom with a king-size bed, roll-top bath, wood-burning stove. Dogs very welcome: 2.5-acre enclosed field. Spectacular countryside on the doorstep. 45 minutes from Glasgow, 45 minutes from the M74.

Wee Bothy at Carnell Estates

Dog-friendly, the Wee Bothy is within the gardens of a 2000 acre working estate in open countryside yet only 10 mins to Kilmarnock, 15 mins to Ayr & Troon and 30 mins from Glasgow. Quietly located by the potting sheds, alongside the walled garden, the cottage is cosy and is set up for every eventuality and is a home away from home if you're here to work.

Ploughmans Cottage

Situated in the countryside, Ploughman's Cottage offers peaceful modern accommodation, a perfect place to relax or use as a base to explore Ayrshire's coastline. Step outside and enjoy picturesque views of Arran and Ailsa Craig. This property is attached to a hillside farm, a short drive to local beaches and the historic Dundonald Castle.
