Our centrally located cottage is peaceful to relax in & recharge, but conveniently located on the main Rd to Edinburgh. City Centre is 14 miles, Airport & Tram stop 6.7miles & Uphall train station to Edinburgh or Glasgow is 1.9miles away. Motorways linking to most of Scotland are 2/3 miles away. Our home has a well equipped kitchen, fast WiFi 105mbps tested & workstation. There are plenty of local amenities too - Uphall golf course (par 69), shops, cafés, takeaways, supermarkets & cosy pubs.

Craigiehall Temple (historic property built 1759)

Make your trip to Edinburgh truly memorable with a stay at Craigiehall Temple. Built in 1759 and situated in its own grounds on a former part of the Craigiehall Estate, its Grade A listed for its stunning portico displaying the arms of the 1st Marquess of Annandale. A plaque on the wall carries a quote from Horace: "Dum Iicet in rebus jucundis vive beatus", "Live happy while you can among joyful things". Charlotte Cottage is wheelchair friendly and comes complete with an open plan living room and kitchen with fridge freezer, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, built in wardrobe, TV with free view and WI-FI. This is a one bed property, sleeping two guests with an en-suite bathroom with shower. Travel Cot & high chair also available.

The cottage has been completely modernised , and is fresh , light and bright .Superb modern kitchen and bathroom. Light and spacious bedroom. The cottage is very quiet with fine views over the forth road bridges to Fife. Free parking and access to electric car charger. Well trained Dogs are most welcome, but there is a charge. A large colourful garden, with a tennis court and croquet lawn surround the property. Eas reach of the village, bus and train station within 3 minutes to Edinburgh.
