Built in 1904 Leatherwood House has been lovingly restored by the current owners to provide guests with a beautifully decorated and stylish space. You will love the amazing uninterrupted view of Mt Roland from the cottage veranda - this view changes continuously reflecting different moods of the mountain depending on the time of day or night and the changing seasons and weather conditions - cloud, rainbows, sunrise or sunset, and occasionally snow. The cottage is warm and cosy with a real flame gas fire to keep you toasty. One bedroom has a king bed and the other a queen bed with deluxe natural fibre linen and electric blankets.

Nestling in a forest of Peppermint Gums is Wylah Cottage, so named after the Aboriginal word for the Yellow Tailed, Black Cockatoo, which is regularly seen and heard around the property. A secluded, self contained, bush retreat, located close to all the good things Tasmania has to offer. On 55 acres of bushland, teeming with wildlife, yet only 7kms from Deloraine – on the way to Cradle Mountain, and 45 minutes to either the Devonport Ferry, or Launceston Airport.
