Overlook the City's Rooftops at a Bright, Bohemian Haven

In the apartment you will find: - 1 big living room with a comfortable sofa, armchair, big working/dining table and a TV, overlooking the rooftops of Ghent - 1 fully equipped kitchen with a microwave, water boiler, dishwasher, fridge, French press and coffee grinder - 1 bedroom for 2 people (king size bed) overlooking the main street - 1 smaller bedroom with a box spring bed for 2 people and a desk - 1 bathroom with a bathtub and a standing shower - separate toilet - utility room with a washing machine, drying machine, ironing board, iron and a drying rack The apartment is equipped with a high-speed Wi-Fi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with a shampoo, conditioner, make up remover, body lotion and various other hygienic products. Please take note, that the apartment is not suited for young children (say under the age of 5) since we are not equipped for this and also the furniture is not adjusted (glass coffee table for example). The apartment is on the 3rd floor, with no elevator. The apartment is very close to both public buses and trams. You will find the nearest tram station, Vogelmarkt (tram line 2), just around the corner, and the nearest bus station, Gent Zuid (most bus lines), a couple of streets away. A friend or I will welcome you and provide you with keys and a tour of the apartment. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions at all! The Ciderhouse Loft is a unique space that combines modern convenience with traditional architectural features. Located on the first floor above my husband's cider brewery, with views over the castle's gardens and the countryside this light, luxurious and very spacious well planned two bedroom home can be rented by two couples, beds zip together, or a family. A guesthouse in style for people with style. Our high-end duplexapartment is very accessibly located in between the 'Kouter' (rectangle square where the Flemish Opera is) and the medieval center (St-Bavo-Cathedral, Graslei, Korenmarkt, Gravensteen to name a few highlights). Brand new, comfortable and classy, with a library-staircase which is not only an eyecatcher. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Sunny terrace! We called our gem "LaCasitaBelMundo”, just adding the dot Gent, to get the full picture.

Imagine! Sleeping in the centre of Medieval Ghent

Burgstraat 17 is an old Patrician house constructed in 1515. Later the house was split in 2 houses and became neglected for many years. In 2019 we started the renovation, with as only purpose, to keep the soul and respect the history and grandeur of the original house. Its exceptional history, unique architecture and central position made it worth doing so. Tears, joy and a lot of work resulted in the place where you are right now. We hope you enjoy and respect this place as much as we do.

Deze gloednieuwe gezellige loft op de 3e verdieping van een statige belle époque woning kijkt uit over eeuwenoude bomen en baadt de hele dag in natuurlijk licht. Le centre ville se trouve à 15 minutes en transports en commun (facilement accessibles depuis l'appartement) et 10 minutes en voiture (possibilité de se garer facilement dans le quartier).

With the two bikes that are included in your stay, the Korenmarkt is a mere 15 minutes away. Bakery, butcher, supermarket and cafés within walking distance. Parking nearby and easy to reach by bus or tram, with stops less than 1 km away. There’s a good bus service to and from the train station Gent-Sint-Pieters.

Completely renovated studio located at 5 minutes walking distance from Brussels Expo and ING Arena, and at 10-15 minutes from the Atomium, the tram and the metro, north of Brussels. The private studio is fully equipped and located on the ground floor in my house. Nice terrace & garden are at your disposal as well. Just bring your luggage :-)
