Enjoy the sound of the loons, kayak, canoe and fish with the 2 single kayaks, tandem kayak or canoe provided! One bedroom with a king size bed and one with a queen. Linens, pillows, blankets, facecloths, bath and beach towels are provided. Everything you will need to enjoy your stay, including fiber optic wifi, Bluray dvd player, Roku, firepit and gas grill. Green Lake fills the windows at Loon, a spacious lakefront home with its own private beach and dock. Cook and gather with the water in view, then head outside for swimming, kayaking and evenings by the fire. Four bedrooms plus a walk-out apartment, all with lake views, sleep 11 in beds and up to 15 with sleeper sofas. No TVs, but fast fiber Wi-Fi is available throughout. The house is heated and winterized, so it works well into fall and winter. Acadia and Bar Harbor are about 45 minutes away.

Outskirts of Orono, space has an upstairs sleeping loft, with a low-ish ceiling and very comfy bed. The bathroom has a shower, the kitchen has a hot plate, microwave/convection, ‘fridge, and there is a large main room downstairs. Windows everywhere, and an AC unit in summer. Less than 20 minutes walk to restaurants, Ampersand’s grocery, and hiking. UMaine is our chief attraction but we are 20 min drive from the Bangor Waterfront. Arrive at 3 pm and leave at 10 am, but we are flexible.

BREEZE Treehouse, at The Appleton Retreat is located on 120 acres of private land, bordered by 1,300 acres of a protected nature conservancy. To the south is the Pettengill Stream a resource protected area and to the north a large secluded pond. BREEZE does not have a hot tub but guests may reserve the sauna, which is close by and private. The Appleton Retreat is less than a 30 minute drive to Belfast, Rockport, Camden and Rockland, charming downeast seaside towns.
