Tooloom Homestead - High Country Escape.

Treat yourself to a totally private and immersive High Country Escape. You will enjoy a fully equipped gourmet, granite kitchen with double oven, stove, microwave, dishwasher and huge island bench. The 18 meter long, open entertainment area includes a large dining room table, slow combustion fire and huge open fireplace. Constructed from local hardwood timber, the house is imbued with a distinctive Australian aesthetic and the walls are decorated with botanical eucalyptus drawings. Spend summer evenings on the expansive veranda, taking in panoramic vistas and breathtaking sunsets and when the cooler weather arrives, unwind with a glass of wine and enjoy the rustic appeal of a roaring open fire. If you are keen for adventure, take an exhilarating wilderness walk or kayaking adventure on the Tooloom river. Pack a picnic hamper, fishing rods and sunglasses and head for the river, where you can cast a lure and wait for a bass to strike. The architecturally designed homestead is perfect for large families or groups, with its wrap around veranda and spacious, travertine ensuites, adjoining every room. For biosecurity reasons, we ask that you leave your pets at home, but feel free to encounter the many cattle, horses, Pretty Faced Wallabies, occasional shy koalas and platypus that call this landscape their home. A Simpler Place in Time

Restored 90 year old farm building separate from house overlooking the McPherson Ranges and Mount Barney on a 17 acre farm block with animals. Great place to stay if you are walking Mt Barney, Mt May or Mt Maroon - 40 mins drive north. The cottage can accommodate 3 people using a queen bed and a trundle bed (extra $15/night). The cottage runs on solar power (off the grid); gas cooktop; gas hot water; septic toilet; tank water and wood heater. Dean's shed is overflowing with stories and harness.

A modest clean kitchen has been setup with tea & coffee & a fresh bottle of milk will be in the fridge ready for a cuppa as soon as you arrive to unwind after your travels. The bathroom is freshly renovated & you will fall in love the twin shower heads! The fenced backyard has space for kicking the footy.

Drive to the end of the lane, wend your way down the poplar lined driveway and find yourself at Lane’s End Cottage, your home away from home in Broadwater, less than ten minutes from the town of Stanthorpe. The cottage is situated on a 42 acre farm, close enough to town that you can pop in easily to enjoy cafes, festivals and a bit of shopping - but far enough away that you will feel you really have escaped to the country.

Welcome to "Hillview", a 72 acre working farm , dachshund stud, and Friesian horses. Newly renovated, this 2-BR apartment sits atop the main house. Guests have a private entry and exclusive use of a ground floor courtyard and an upper deck that offers panoramic views across the valley below. Breakfast supplies are included. BBQ on deck, Wake to the sounds of nature, and see the amazing night sky.

The Cottage on Canningvale

Cosy, self-contained, studio style cottage. Guests are welcome to make full use of all facilities. A large entertaining area with barbeque and fire pit. Set on an acreage on the edge of Warwick with bushland setting. Single carport with plenty of space in our yard for a caravan, trailer or truck. Unfenced, so no pets, sorry. Light breakfast included. We can cater for two, having a queen bed.

Please be mindful before you book that if it rains road will be closed and 4wd will be needed to gain access if conditions allow via different directions. Remote and 15 metres off world heritage listed rainforest. This is the ultimate if you are looking for a place to wind down and simply enjoy watching the day go by & recharge your entire self in this beautiful part of the world.

Your perfect weekend getaway ! What to expect? The cabin is a small space designed to be cosy but has everything you need for a weekend away.
