Set on private farmland on an elevated site, The oat box provides a luxurious haven of peace and tranquility to escape from the world for a little while. Our 1968 Bedford TK Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted into guest accommodation for 2 adults using repurposed materials to create a cosy, welcoming hideaway. It is the perfect base to explore the panoramic North Coast of Ireland with its many tourist attractions. There are a great selection of restaurants and quality coffee shops nearby.

Relax in an A-frame Cottage over looking a stocked trout pond surrounded by trees. 20 acres of trails. Fish swim, kayak or canoe in the pond or creek. Watch the ducks, frogs, herons, birds, turtles & a variety of wildlife. Enjoy the stars & roast marshmallows at the camp fire. Fully stocked kitchen, BBQ, wood stove, fire pit and 3 piece bathroom. An Capall (meaning Horse in Irish language) is a beautifully converted Horse Lorry currently out to grass overlooking a meandering river, nestled near Glendalough in the Wicklow Mountains. Our Wooden Bedford Horse Lorry has been lovingly converted to house a King Size bed upper deck plus a single bunk. Guests have private access to our river beach, firepit & BBQ. In addition you can book a private Finnish Sauna & River Plunge experience in our converted horse box (at an extra charge).
