The Carriage - A first class experience

Step back in time to this restored 1950's Pullman railway carriage, with the added luxury of 21st century amenities. The Carriage is set on tracks where the original line ran through Ullock on the fringe of the Lake District National Park, with the river Marron running below. Relive a unique journey with the addition of being able to step out onto the platform for sunbathing, breakfast or your evening meal then retire to the antique king sized bed with dressing room, ensuite and Eden toiletries.

The Cozy Caboose!

This newly-renovated, air conditioned 1953 D&H railway baywindow caboose features barnwood wainscoting, tiled shower, bunk beds, futon, sofa opening to double bed, and kitchenette. The rural property 7 miles outside of Ithaca is one mile from Robert Treman State Park where you can swim beneath the waterfall. Railway memorabilia and railroad-themed books for adults and children enhance the experience. Listed price is for two guests; $25 fee added for each additional guest. Continental breakfast.

Mountainview Lodge Caboose/Tiny Home

Nestled into the Algoma Mountains is our charming lodge. Our historic Algoma train Caboose is quite the experience as it's surrounded by mature spruce, birch and maple trees. Because of our unique location we are on a major flight path for northern migrating birds. We are along the sacred Goulais River, which is home to many different fish species all making their way to Lake Superior. This is some of the best fishing in the world. We also offer kayak and canoes to rent to explore the river.

Weighing 20 tons and brimming with original rustic features, this historic wagon offers characterful self-catering accommodation with a touch of luxury. Enjoy your own private en-suite with hot shower, wood-fired hot tub, and peaceful soundtrack of birdsong and country life. The Toad makes a fantastic all-year-round base to explore the Brecon Beacons and beyond.

Old Chapel Farm Wagon

A converted railway goods wagon (c.1900), rustic and simple, with stunning view over our organic farm and uninhabited valleys beyond. Basic kitchen - Loos and showers in the farmyard or own compost loo alongside. This farm is host to a community of volunteers from all over the world and you will be welcome to get involved in our way of life - close to land and seasons, or enjoy seclusion in a place that radiates peace and vitality with unpolluted night skies.

Union Station Depot, over 100 year old train station, is a unique lodging experience. After a day of playing in the great outdoors; tackling the Iron Ore Heritage Trail (bike path with single track mountain bike trails or hiking) blazing your own way through more rugged terrain; or simply antiquing or a day on the beach of Lake Superior there is no better way to end the day than with great food and people you love nestled in comfortable and cozy surroundings.

All Aboard! Riverfront FJ&G Caboose

Located on our Mohawk Riverfront Property this beautifully renovated historic caboose was originally a D&H (Delaware Hudson) transfer caboose. Later sold to service the FJ&G Fonda, Johnstown & Gloversville area in upstate NY. Includes a full kitchen, full bath and loft area with a double bed. First floor has a queen pull out sofa bed. Smart TV and internet included as well as local channels. Well behaved pets allowed.
