Our cosy cabin sits in a small orchard on our property which is semi-rural and set on the edge of farmland. We are situated at the entry to the beautiful East Neuk of Fife which includes the pretty harbour towns of Anstruther and Crail and is renowned for its many types of crafts. We run a Stitching Studio and Gallery on our premises. St Andrews is only 14 miles away, Dundee 24 miles and Edinburgh 37 miles. There is a main line station at Kirkcaldy which is 9 miles away.

Ashtrees Cottage is in a beautiful rural location and has Loch Leven Nature Reserve on its door step. The Balgedie Toll Tavern & Levens Larder both less than 10 minutes walk from the Cottage. Its a great place to explore towns and villages around the East Neuk of Fife, Edinburgh, St Andrews, Gleneagles, Stirling and Glasgow all within 60 minute drive. Its a great place to base yourself if you are planning to explore the Lowlands and Southern Highlands of Scotland.

Just 100m from Elie's famous Ship Inn and beach. It is the perfect base in Elie with the beach, shops, restaurants, watersports, golf & tennis. Small garden in which to soak up the sun and enjoy the sea air, outside heated bath. The house is on one level (with a few steps up to the front door) with on street parking. Allow 1 pet. Bedroom layouts: Room 1 - queen bed, ensuite Room 2 - twin beds Room 3 - twin beds, Room 4 - twin beds (accessed from room 3)

Beautifully furnished two-bedroom apartment in a central, but quiet, location, and within walking distance of most tourist attractions. If the hills are too much, a good bus service is nearby. The apartment is very comfortable - a real home from home. I live in the same building, so I'm available if you need help or advice. PARKING: you MUST let me know if you plan to bring a car BEFORE booking. The available parking won't suit everyone.
