"Nordico Point" - Cozy Cabin on Mitchell Lake

Welcome to Nordico Point. Since 1984 our family has enjoyed the Boundary Waters Canoe Area. Our private 4.5 acres w/1200' of lakeshore reminds us of some of the most beautiful BWCA campsites that we have stayed at. Nordico Point aims to provide a similar experience for those who still desire a wilderness experience but no longer want to portage or sleep on the ground. And paddling is 100% voluntary. PS - you can launch a boat, too - small boat(16ft max - just no wake board boats allowed;)

Located at the entry to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, situated on the very edge of Ely, MN. The cabin is centrally located to all of the Ely area BWCA entry points. With a 2 night minimum stay, you receive a complimentary Kevlar canoe of your choice and free routing services to BWCA points of interest & fishing. Experience and north woods setting while enjoying the convinces of a small town, restaurants, shopping & museums. Direct access to the Prospector Loop ATV and Trezona Bike Trails.

Wild Pines Cabin: A-frame w/ Lake Superior views

Located 5 minutes from Split Rock Lighthouse, Wild Pines Cabin is a completely renovated 1974 a-frame that sits atop 40 private acres overlooking Lake Superior. During your stay, hike through the property, catch glimpses of wildlife, sip coffee by the fire while taking in the sunrise over the lake, or step out to nearby Gooseberry, Black Beach, or Tettegouche. Rates include all applicable state and local taxes, lodging fees, etc. Rates do NOT include rentals, pet fees, docking fees, or other ancillary charges.

Our home is a 3 bedroom/2.5 bath, four season lake home with absolutely amazing lake views! This is a 2500 sq ft year-round home with open floor living area and lake views that will take your breath away! There is an electric sauna, an outdoor fire pit & a 3 season porch. Our dog friendly home sits on 12 acres of wooded land and we have 150 feet of rocky shoreline across the road. We are a 10 minute drive from downtown Ely on Shagawa lake.
