Our Cabin In The City offers the best of both worlds: a tranquil retreat in nature, with easy access to a host of amenities and activities. Just a short drive away, a charming array of dining options awaits you. Including the shimmering waters of nearby Lake Ray Hubbard, offers opportunities for fishing or simply basking in the sun on a lazy afternoon. The Cabin is romantic, quiet, and with the beauty of the great outdoors and intimacy. Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic spot in nature.

Dogwood Cabin on Scenic Wooded Mossbridge Farm

Our two cabins Dogwood and Holly are located on a quiet, wooded 10 acre retreat that is 8 miles from Athens. Our special feature is a spring fed creek that flows year round and has it's own micro climate that is perfect for native ferns, mixed hardwood forest and dogwoods. We have provided a nature trail for bird watching and exercise. Recently we designed and constructed a beautiful pond with three waterfalls and a deck overhanging the water with chairs for enjoying our private paradise.

We fell in love with Deepwater 6 years ago, now guests share their favorite moments with us. Back patio is great place to catch up on memories while the sun, lake, trees create the moment. We are excited to welcome you to a stress free retreat. Take a stroll around the property and you may come across some of the wildlife that frequents the area. Relax in the open porch while gazing into nature. The cozy 600 sq ft cabin has all the comfort of modern living with Wi-Fi, smart TVs, fully stocked kitchen and air conditioning available. Enjoy grilling under plenty of natural shade and make unforgettable memories under the stars with smores using the fire pit.

Jon’s Cabin

All are welcome to Jon’s Cabin, a quiet cabin getaway or a relaxing pit stop for travelers. We are conveniently located 5 miles off of 35, in the middle of DFW and Waco. We are equipped for a comfortable stay for horses, with a 50 amp hook up for a horse trailer or travel trailer. Also, a watering troff with water, separate pasture with barn and 3 horse stables. We have a separate fenced area for dogs with food and water bowl and a dog house.

The one bedroom Wright House is fashioned after the iconic Frank Lloyd Wright’s signature architecture. The straight lines, art deco design, and stain glass work are wonderful throwbacks to a bygone era. Though years have passed, this cabin will wow and intrigue you. Relax and acknowledge just how good life is the in the Wright House. Features hot tub on the patio, see-thru fireplace and kitchenette.

Cute cabin located on a working farm. Enjoy the horses and cows grazing right outside. Comfortable 2 bedrooms with a sleeping loft for the kids (horizontal only for adults). Hosts live on the same property so we will usually be available if you need anything during your stay. We prefer a low-distraction lifestyle, but a TV is available on request. Limited outdoor space available.
