Quaint & artsy Hillsborough, funky & fun Chapel Hill/UNC and Carrboro are a short drive. Eno River State Park, hiking & biking trails, and the Mountains to Sea Trail are 2.5 miles away. Full of unexpected details, including an outside labyrinth, The Stable is a comfortable sanctuary for all who want to settle in and smile.

This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Duke Forest Trails and Duke CC Trail within walking distance.

Our midcentury modernized all-steel home, manufactured by the Lustron Corporation in the 1940s, is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood near Duke University and Hospital, the NC School of Science and Math, and Ninth St shops and restaurants. Our house retains all its original built-in steel cabinetry and features period-appropriate furniture handcrafted by the owner.
