Ce chalet surplombant Orsières, adossé au Catogne est en fait une ancienne grange rénovée et aménagée en lieu d’habitation. Cette grange appartenait à l’époque à trois paysans chacun possédait un étage. Ils y entreposaient du fourrage, des graines ainsi que le pain de seigle qui était fabriqué deux fois par année dans le four à pain voisin. En 1998, il a pris sa forme actuelle avec sa cuisine toute équipée, sa salle à manger, son salon avec un canapé lit, ses deux chambres à coucher .

Verbier se trouve à 25 minutes (voiture) en hiver et à 12 minutes en été par la fameuse route du Soleil qui porte bien son nom.
