Mary’s Room is named for Mary Dupuy, the wife of William Spencer, who the home is named for. While it’s not known if she kept a separate bedroom of her own, this room—with its hand-carved 1880s antique queen bed—would have been both inviting and comfortable. The room features two floor-to-ceiling windows that fill the space with light. Two closets have been thoughtfully converted into a private, in-room bathroom, providing modern comfort while preserving the historic character of the house.

The private drive way is a mile long with wildlife to enjoy. Our property is dog friendly being equipped with an outdoor dog run. While it feels remote we are within 10min of restaurants and downtown life. If you want to enjoy the country this is it!

Its black walnut Art Deco bedroom suite, purchased at the time of the major 1935 home renovation, is accented with Grandma Hall's rose needlepoint and family-made embroidery pieces. Though the furniture is reminiscent of a by-gone era, a newer, high quality mattress and bedding provides each guest with a clean, quiet, comfortable night's rest.
