Summer is here in Fairbanks, and what better place to stay than this cute little secluded cabin! Originally built as a writing retreat, this tiny, yet lovely cabin offers privacy for two in a quiet, conveniently located West Fairbanks neighborhood, 10 minutes from the airport and UAF. The cabin features a loft bed via ladder, small kitchen appliances, and artistic decor. Guests are offered exclusive, private use of a full bathroom inside our home, completely blocked off from our living area.

We are located in Goldstream valley about 9 minutes from Fairbanks. It is a quiet get away spot surrounded by birch trees. Life is simple here. The bathroom is an outhouse - common in Fairbanks. We have a banya sauna for bathing. Running hot & cold water inside cabin. A store & laundromat with showers 1 mile away. Ivory Jacks restaurant & bar 1 mile away, Sam's Thai 3 miles. Great northern lights viewing! Close to hiking trails & bird sanctuary. Our home is a 4min walk from cabin.

Aurora Pond Cabin and Winter Dog Sled Rides

Our cabin is designed to give you the real Alaskan log cabin wilderness experience, just 12 miles from Fairbanks town centre and airport. It is perfectly located at the doorstep of a host of activities all year round. In the winter and spring you can go dog sledding (which Simon provides)cross country skiing, winter biking and snow shoeing from your door step and Moose Mountain ski resort (5 miles away). In the summer there are biking and hiking trails.
