We welcome you and your family to our home away from home. The Cottontail has the comforts of your home with lots of room for fun. Only ten minutes from town, this quiet and peaceful getaway sits in the country surrounded with nature trails and wildlife. It is a short drive (30 minutes) from Crossett, Monticello, Lake Village and a little over an hour to Greenville, MS and Monroe, LA. There is plenty of opportunities to explore and enjoy all this area has to offer.

Savage Lane

Our father built this house beginning in 1981. It is located on our 40-acre farm, in front of my sister's cottage, about 100 yards from the house I share with our nephew, which was originally built by our grandparents in 1939. It is quiet, remote and peaceful. It is about seven miles to the nearest grocery stores and restaurants in Bastrop, and one mile to a Dollar General in Collinston. There is wifi in the house, as well as a Roku TV.

The Bunkhouse

The Bunkhouse 2 bed,1 bath,full kitchen, washer, and dryer sits deep in the MS delta crop land and out in the country away from the busy towns. With a nice front porch, BBQ grill, and fire pit you can slow down and relax. This house has WiFi but no TV. A great place to stay when coming through or if you're working in the area.

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. If you appreciate detail you will love our cabin! Our cabin is located at The little RV Park at Transylvania. We have a pavillion with a grill and fire pit for you to enjoy! We also have a small coin laundry on the premises.Come enjoy the beautiful country sunsets.
