Beasley Backwater Retreat on Lovely Lake Eufaula

The Beasley Backwater Retreat is located on beautiful Lake Eufaula, between the historic towns of Abbeville and Eufaula. The house, built as a vacation house by my grandparents in 1963, is pretty much vintage, with some more modern conveniences, such as microwave, dishwasher, HVAC, internet access, and a Keurig. Located on a peaceful area of the lake, with a private dock and nice neighbors, it's a great place to get away from town and create fond memories--it certainly has been for us! Enjoy!

A Cozy Spacious home w/deck and grill

Welcome to our delightful, countryside home! This charming home is spacious, has high ceilings and natural light creating a cozy, comfortable place to relax. This home is well equipped with cookware, bakeware, glassware and silverware, and a dish washer. Coffee grounds and other pantry items such as zip loc bags, aluminum foil, salt, pepper, cooking spray, etc. A charcoal grill and utensils are readily available for you use, but we don't provide charcoal as some grill master are particular!😁

Nice and spacious brick home located in the picturesque small community of Pittsview just 20 minutes from Eufaula, downtown Columbus and Ft Benning (about halfway between Eufaula and Columbus). 10 min. to the Omaha Brewery, 30 min to Providence Canyon State Park, 17 min to Lake Point State Park, 20 minutes to White Water Rafting on the Chattahoochee, 7 minutes to Hatchechubee Creek Park w/ boat ramp. Pittsview is a quiet and quaint community that everyone falls in love with once they visit.

The home has a very walkable location, being approximately two blocks from the downtown main street, where you'll find restaurants, a grocery store, drug stores, churches and various other shops, or you can take a stroll through the historic neighborhood admiring the various historic homes and the beautiful landscaping.
