Relax, unwind in the peaceful Pacific Northwest. Cozy sun-filled studio apartment located in Arcata a block from Humboldt State University, and just three blocks from vibrant downtown Arcata, an interesting university town with gourmet restaurants, cafés and eclectic little shops nestled between Humboldt Bay and the redwoods. The studio apartment easily accommodates three with a comfy queen bed and full size futon.The futon is perfect for one adult or two children. Fully equipped kitchen if you want to cook for yourself. Furnished with a beautiful mix of antiques and unusual flea market treasures, oriental rugs, original artwork. Parking on the alley, private entrance, access to the lovely, private flower-filled garden. Arcata's Redwood Park has extensive trails through the big trees a short walk away, just a few blocks from the apartment. Ocean beaches are a ten-minute drive. Cable TV, dvds old school vinyl record player and records, Ethernet Internet connection. No minimum stay, no cleaning or service fees. Smoking is allowed, but only in the garden. The apartment features a soft queen bed, shower bathroom, large living room (smart tv), kitchen that has dining area, the kitchen has new appliances , Perfect for a short vacation or a long term rental. . This is your own apartment during the stay and only shared area is the outside hallway and entry doors. The entire building is non smoking and no pets due to severe allergies. There is no smoking of any kind. Parking is parking on 6th and L st.

Your apartment is located downtown, below our home, you can walk to everything you need (3 blocks to Arcata Plaza, w/year round Farmer's Market, 6 blocks to Cal Poly, & half mile to Arcata Community Redwood Forest). It has a bay view, lots of light, & sleeps four (a queen bed & double sofa bed, w/a curtain dividing bedroom and living room). The kitchen has fridge, stove, microwave, toaster oven, cookware, coffee pot/Keurig, hot water pot. We're proud to be solar powered! Low cleaning fee. : )

Blue Lake Sanctuary

Surrounded by pastures, it's a short walk to the Mad River for swims and walks. The Mad River Brewery is less than a mile up the road. Excellent mountain biking is 1 mile away. In a 15 minute drive you can find the hip town of Arcata, surrounded by redwoods and hiking as well as a majestic coastline. Sundays 10 am to noon we host a family friendly ecstatic dance in the studio adjacent to the apartment. Expect music at that time. Come join us! Public Yoga classes are Tuesday & Saturday am.

Downtown Arcata Studio Apartment is in a fun and lively location just a block from the Arcata Plaza overlooking a popular seafood restaurant and next door to a winery/cidery. Countless restaurants, shops, and the Arcata Co-op are within a block or two. There is free parking in our private parking lot, fast 1 gig/second Wi-fi, washer/dryer in apt, and apt is behind secure gate w/keycode. If your dates aren’t available please let us know and we can add a stay in one of our other two apts.

Modern, light & airy one bedroom apartment, upstairs with the trees and sun. High ceilings, hardwood floors, quartz counter tops and a bar that seats four. Cal King size bed and a rollaway twin in the closet. You will feel like you're in your own private world. It's a pretty special place. And, for me, B & B stands for bed & breakfast. So I make sure you have something to eat in the morning. I can be flexible with check in and check out, if I don't have guests back to back. :-)
