Cozy little independent studio with safe offstreet parking. Parking area and property is shared with the main house, but there is lots of privacy with a large covered porch that looks out over a veggie garden. Basic amenities provided so that you can focus on experiencing the great outdoors in the nearby state and national parks or any of the other local sightseeing opportunities. It is a very cozy space best suited for a couple or single guest. Or travel with a pet - fully fenced yard provided.

Next to Redwood Acres and Sequoia park/zoo, We are nearby St. Joseph Hospital, a veterinary hospital, convenience stores, bar, restaurants, gym, grocery stores, and dispensary. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood with two off street parking spots. Relax after a day of exploring the Humboldt Redwoods State Park in this peaceful, dog-friendly (for a fee), renovated barn. Nestled on a point, with spectacular views of the Eel River Valley ranch lands, redwoods, and majestic mountains. It is located right off highway 101 and just minutes to the Avenue of the Giants for exploring and hiking. Enjoy shopping and dining in the nearby Victorian village of Ferndale. It's the perfect central location for exploring all Humboldt has to offer!

The Head Water House is very easy to find just 5 miles off HWY 101, just shy of Old Town Eureka (10 minutes). This place is truly unique with it's "one of kind" natural Redwood amphitheater and open meadow views. The Elk River Valley is relatively quiet, dark starry nights, and has 50% more sunny days than Eureka proper. Equipped with Starlink, rural connectivity has never been better. You'll see and hear many species of birds, deer, fox, and maybe even a Barred Owl at dusk.

NO FIRES ALLOWED - anyone who breaks this rule will be fined $300.
