This bright hideaway is also fully equipped for both work and play, thanks to its super high speed Gig+ Wi-Fi, 48" 4K TV with Chromecast, YouTubeTV (where you can get lots of the typical and commonly watched channels), and Apple TV (through which you can access your favorite streaming apps, Netflix, and more) Luxury touches include the kitchen's granite tops. This is a two level cottage, with beautiful bedroom upstairs. The downstairs living area includes full kitchen, bathroom, entertainment and work area. The kitchen with spacious and bright view of the garden is beautifully appointed with granite countertops, gas stove, microwave, and full size refrigerator and dishwasher. If you like to cook, you'll enjoy the fully stocked housewares and high end kitchen appliances. New washer and dryer are located in structure behind cottage to maximize your living space inside the cottage. Beautiful bathroom with granite decor, vaulted ceiling and skylight. The private cottage is all yours. You have direct private 24/7 access to the cottage through the driveway gate. The back yard garden, patio, fire pit and jacuzzi are shared. I enjoy meeting and talking to my guests, providing advice and recommendations (if requested) about local highlights and places to explore in the nearby nature (parks, hiking trails, great beach locations). I enjoy back yard BBQs with guests, friends and neighbors. This lovely cottage is walking distance from the nightlife, restaurants, and bars of both downtown Redwood City and downtown San Carlos. There's a beautiful park at the end of the block. Plus, it's a convenient commute for Silicon Valley. Street parking is easy in this residential neighborhood. 15 minute walk to the Redwood City Caltrain station. Due to the great location close to downtown and Caltrain, you WILL hear trains passing through and some vehicle traffic from the main road nearby. For your safety and security, external security cameras cover all external access points to the cottage, automatically recording any motion activity day or night, providing live remote monitoring and alerts. This cottage is a fantastic location for visitors and family looking for AirBnB lodging near Stanford University and other schools, colleges and universities on the SF Peninsula and Silicon Valley! STVR permit #221203. This charming home is perched in the trees with views of the forest through the skylights. Close to the mountain town of Boulder Creek if you need groceries. We aim to give you the most comfortable stay and modern amenities. If you are a remote worker, we have a work space in each bedroom with a large monitor and desk. Dogs are welcome. Smoking outdoors is permitted. Located 35min to Santa Cruz, 1:30 to downtown SF and 45min to San Jose. Hot tub under the redwoods and relax!
