Welcome to Camps Bay beach.... one of the most scenic beaches in the world!
Before introducing you to the other players, we will need to adhere to the current covid 19 hygiene protocols.
We a small group of locals and expats who simply love playing beach volleyball!
Please note for both you and our regular players to enjoy the experience, you must have:
1. Previous volleyball experience.
2. You can dig and set a volleyball - regret no beginners
There after its time to increase your pulse rate by doing some warm up exercise drills, no worries, nothing serious :-) Now that you all warmed up, let the games begin!! I will provided a bottle of water and energy bar should you wish to take a break and admire the majestic Table mountain and ocean views! We usually play two, sometimes three a side depending how the day progresses.
I guess its about lunch time now, so lets take a dip in the ocean before heading over to my favorite health cafe for a nice refreshing smoothie (Please note this will be for your own expense) Sometimes we just chill under the beach umbrella enjoying Table Mountain and Atlantic ocean views whist recovering :-)
Other things to note
- Unfavorable wind conditions, we will meet on Clifton 4
beach far right hand corner.
- Please bring along your sunscreen,cap and beach towel.
- Avoid bringing unnecessary valuables!

I started playing volleyball a few years ago on a social basis in Sydney Australia, Sweden and of course Cape Town. I enjoyed the game so much that I decided to buy my own beach volleyball net system since there no public nets on Cape Town beaches. Meeting so many new friends while playing beach volleyball makes it an overall amazing international sporting experience that I would love to share!

Incredible experience! This was the first thing I did in Cape Town and couldn’t be happier. An amazing host and group of people to join in on a super fun day. Shevy is a gracious and wonderful host and will make you feel right at home. If you’re considering this do it!!

Shevy is so welcoming and had amazing communication leading up to arriving. He introduced me to lots of great people and players. I had a blast and will be on an extended stay so I’m already excited for the next session! I also appreciated the big water and energy bar, goes a long way in the Cape Town sun haha. Feels great to have a chance to play abroad, thanks Shevy!
