I know the Beijing Hutongs like the back of my hand, and can navigate these even at night with absolute ease. We will wander through the hutongs near Houhai, Beilouguxiang, Beixinqiao, Dongsi, and Dongsishitiao (so bring your walking shoes or we can target specific areas), and do a photoshoot that I can guarantee to make your friends ask "where?" and "how?". Timing will either be dusk or dawn, starting one hour before and ending one hour after (so 3 hours total).
I'm Creative Director at XCharge (former Creative Director of Lightinthebox.com and VIPKid) in Beijing, China. On top of this, I'm a professional photographer who has done shoots with Nike, Sony, various local magazines, and regularly contribute to Getty Images. I have lived in the Beixinqiao Hutongs in central Beijing for over 2 years and have a rich passion for these neighborhoods. I love taking walks through the unique mazes that are the hutongs and finding new nooks and crannies. During my wanderings I have found special spots that stunningly beautiful for photos and photoshoots. I wish to share these with everyone who decides to take a walk with me!
I'll be bringing a Canon 5D Mark 4 with 24-70mm F2.8, 16-35mm F2.8, 100mm F2.8, and 24-105 F4 lenses. I'll bring portable LED…
Depending on where you'll want to start, we can go south to north or north to south. The hutongs zigzag and maze their way through the very heart of Beijing, but don't worry! I'll be there guiding you through ancient neighborhoods and taking stunning photos of you along the way.
最多可供2位年滿18歲的旅人參加。父母也可以陪同兩歲以下的幼兒參加。 Please bring your passport. It's required for foreigners to have their passports with them while in China (better safe than sorry).
Camera - in case they want to take photos too
Please let me know where you're staying so I can easily navigate you to the correct location.
