體驗簡介
Little Haiti is an undiscovered world of Haitian culture unique to Miami. We will first meet for a lovely, traditional Haitian lunch at an infamous (for those who know) underground spot. Then we’ll continue on to view art and dance at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex. We’ll visit the performance venue, where you can participate in or just watch a Haitian dance and drum class. We'll also explore the marketplace, art gallery, surrounding murals, and much more. You will walk away with a newfound education, understanding, and appreciation for this wonderful Caribbean culture.
Other things to note
Bring your enthusiasm and appetite. Everything is within walking distance from the original meeting spot. You should bring money for food, drinks, and any crafts or art you might want to purchase.

I am a psychologist and founder and director of the non-profit production agency, Sybarite Productions. I love music, art, and all that Miami and Little Haiti have to offer—and am passionate about sharing it with others. I have spent extensive time in Haiti and am married to a Haitian man, and I’m deeply immersed in the culture and politics. I have a lot to share about this beautiful country.

We will begin with lunch at Chef Creole, an infamous authentic Haitian spot known only to locals. Next, we will venture to the Little Haiti Cultural Complex, where we’ll learn about the rich history of Haiti and explore the Caribbean market, surrounding murals, and art gallery.
Dinna could not make the tour and I was the only guest so Yves, her partner, kindly stepped in. I enjoyed my time discussing topics of mutual interest such as art and food, but can't help thinking the tour could have been 2 hours long or the guide a little more informed on the history of Haitians in the area. We added on Wynwood Walls to the tour which made a great afternoon for me! Thanks Yves.
