We will meet at whatever body of water we agreed upon during communications, the boards will be all ready to go, you will just need yourself! We start by going over the board, equipment, water safety and a few basic paddleboard techniques. Once we launch the boards we will take some time learning proper paddling strokes as we paddle out to a nice calm place where we will anchor up and begin class. We spend about an hour on the water, each class is adjusted to fit the level of the students, and plenty of modifications are always offered. I will provide pictures and videos if requested.
I am a certified yoga teacher and personal trainer. I have been certified in yoga for 5 years and received my personal training certificate April 2018. Since then I have been actively training clients and teaching classes at gyms/studios in the North Tahoe area. I grew up on the water so combining yoga and fitness to paddleboarding has come natural to me. I was a kayak and paddleboard guide in Alaska, Seattle, and on Lake Tahoe. I have been certified in paddling through ACA and PSUPA. Safety is my number one concern whether we are on water or land. My goal is to give people a great workout without injuring themselves and leaving their class/session feeling stronger, healthier, and ready for more!
I provide paddleboards, paddles, leashes, PFD’s, and photography.
Classes will take place on Lake Tahoe out of King's Beach and Tahoe City, as well as on Donner Lake in Truckee.
