I will take you to truly local world of Japanese craft beer. Decade ago, Japanese people did not have many choices to drink beer- beer to Japanese people was usually an alcohol of mass production. However, our idea of founding a brewery was to build a place where people can just drop by casually and enjoy freshly brewed beer, just like a local bakery which provides freshly baked breads and loved by community. In this experience I will show you my brewery in Nakano, and share you our history and ask you to try some beer tastings. As this happens in Nakano, where has the mingled vibes of subcultural and good old style of Tokyo, let's bring beer out and start exploring the neighborhood. I've known this area for long time so let me show you places of my recommend.
I used to work for a Japanese music instrumental company. With my love of music and beer, on my wedding ceremony I performed "beer serving" and it made me realize that beer can bring joy to people. Fascinated by the attractiveness of beer, I decided to work with founder who just set up his company to build local beer brewery. That's years ago, but my passion towards beer and music never changes.
Beer Tasting a couple of freshly brewed beer
Gathering at Nakano Station, we head to our brewery first, and then go out to explore the local streets of the neighborhood. Exact location should be customized with your request, but mainly thinking about visiting Broadway, some back alleys filled with Izakaya bars.
Water bottle (plastic bottle is fine)
Please bring your own water bottle. Plastic bottle is fine(we'll use them to pour fresh beer and go out)
