South African gastronomy is a real mix of cultures. The Khoi-San, Boers, Indian, Malay, French, British play a role in the SA gastronomy.
During this hands-on cooking class followed by the dinner of gourmet prepared meal, I explain the different eating habits, diets and tastes among the various cultures in South Africa. This is a fun way to taste delicious South African recipes . Experience the cuisine of the rainbow nation:
Tswana-style morogo
Bunny chow chicken curry
Yoghurt-buchu terrine (Khoi-San)
Nice recipes to bring back home as souvenirs.
Lekker good!
And to complete this African experience...you will then even have the opportunity to cook in African traditional clothes.
Other things to note
Please bring your own drinks/wine to enjoy during the class and dinner as I don't have a liquor license. Transportation needs to be arranged by the client. Note: Uber is very well used in Cape Town.

The host, Nadege, was amazing. From the clear instructions in how to get to location, the warm hug and greeting, the decor, tips to add personal touches to food presentation, wonderful conversation and general professionalism. Nadege was an excellent super host. Definitely could tell she was passionate about her love of cooking and meeting people. She even helped me find accommodations after my Airbnb stay was cancelled at the last minute.

We had a wonderful cooking evening with Nadege. She really excited us and explained all the dishes and ingredients. We cooked excellent, delicious dishes and learned a lot about food and culture in Cape Town. Nadege is a very lovely person!
