Thomas will meet your group at a local park with several public restrooms available if needed. Before starting out, Thomas will double check everyone's water situation followed by a short orientation and waiver signing. Then the fun begins! We'll head off to the trails for a beautiful hiking experience. Depending upon the make-up and goals of your group, Thomas can adjust the time and distance of your trip to fit your group’s limitations. You'll travel through several gorgeous locations and if you bring kids they will be able to climb around on the sandstone and lava rock formations along the way. There are a total of 3 ascents/descents during the hike and one in particular is a little challenging but most people have no trouble getting up it. Midway into the hike, we will take a short break in a beautiful valley to refuel with snacks and to take a group photo. After the break, we will head back to the starting point of the trip where members can hit the restroom again if needed. The entire trip, with breaks included, is about 2.5 hours. Generally speaking, guests who have completed the trip feel like they got a good workout in and are a little tired but then can go about their day as-planned. You will likely need a nap that afternoon and will definitely get a good night’s sleep that night as this experience is really good workout. And the scenery is epic. You'll love it!
