I will take you on a tour of my favorite vintage and second-hand shops! We will meet on the charming Rue Montergueil for a coffee where we will get a chance to get to know each other, before starting off with our first vintage shops closeby. We will then make our way to the Marais/St Paul area, with a great selections of vintage hubs all along the way. Of course, our main focus is shopping, but I want to leave the experience with lots more knowledge about the city, and addresses for your address book, so I will take you down the prettiest streets, show you the most authentic cafés, bars, restaurants, and hidden passage-ways you need to see!
Vintage has always been a passion of mine, I used to own a vintage shop in Brighton (UK), which turned into owning 2 and then 3. I was curating collections mainly around my favorite eras: the 60s/70s/90s/Y2K (and a little golden age!). Styling photoshoots and videos for my brand turned into being hired as a stylist for artists's photoshoots, music videos or photographers' editorials, I loved it. But after a long time in this field, I needed change and moved back to Paris (I grew up here and spent the last few years back and forth between here and the UK) to pursue a music career. Vintage is still a very big part of my life, and can't think of a better way to spend the day than walking around to find new vintage spots. To then share them is the cherry on the cake!
I will Invite us for the hot drink we have upon meeting!
Our first stop, Rue Montergueuil, is a beautiful, bustling old market street. It's full of charming cafès, restaurants, and bars. Any Parisian would go there for a definite great atmosphere. We will walk towards the beautiful Marais/Saint Paul area, taking a route to suit what you are looking to find, always making sure we keep it the real Parisian way. No tourists traps!
