Did you know that Bangkok has the world's biggest Chinatown? What Bangkok Chinatown is also known for is both the quality and quantity of street food. Come with us to Chinatown for an evening Bangkok street food tour you'll never forget. We'll start walking from Hua Lamphong which is the Bangkok railway station. You'll see its building in the shape of Italian Renaissance dome. Then we'll pass Wat Traimit or the Temple of Golden Buddha. We'll look at the beauty of its building at night. Note that we can't enter inside because the temple is closed at night. Then, we'll continue walking to Odeon Circle or Chinese Gate, which was established to celebrate King Rama 9's 72nd birthday. Now, we arrive at Chinatown's best street food places that we all know and love. Let's recharge your energy with juices or herbal drink and, walk to the 40-50 year old market where we'll try Pad Thai, fried radish cake and Chinese sweets. Are you full? If you say NO, we'll continue to other side of the street to try Peking duck rolled with vegetables and brown sauce. Very yummy! Before we say goodbye, let's grab a drink & listen to classic jazz music at Red Rose restaurant at Shanghai Mansion Hotel. (This is optional and the drink is at your own expense)! So, come with us to Chinatown to chow down on the best street food Thai-Chinese way! *This experience might not be suitable for Vegetarians
Sa-Was-Dee-Krub (Hello! in Thai). I’m Taro, a co-founder of TakeMeTour. My goal is to host travelers from around the world with the best authentic experience in Thailand like never before (yes, believe me!). My best co-host (called Pinky) will take you on this trip. Over 30 years, she's spent her time at Chinatown. Not only knowing the best Thai/Chinese food in Chinatown, but she's also bounded with this place. Every night after school, she went to her uncle's shop nearby to sell his products. Although she doesn't have Chinese descent, she's seen lots of changes in Chinatown from her childhood until the present. You'll experience exclusively the Chinese food and culture from the aspect of Thais! Other experiences from my friendly co-hosts www.airbnb.com/users/show/287978117
