We’ll walk from Plaza Mayor to the top of La Vigia Hill. From there you’ll have a beautiful and unforgettable view of Trinidad City, Sugar Mills Valley nearby, the mountains, and the Caribbean Sea. It will be an excellent opportunity to get away from town and get closer to nature. This is a chance to take great photos, exercise, and feel the history and culture of this small town from a different perspective. During the hike we will talk about the landscape and people of this city while we enjoy the beautiful sunrise.
Other things to note
Wear suitable clothes and shoes for hiking. I recommend bring insect repellent, kneepads, ankle pads, and a small bag or backpack for your belongings.

I am a former amateur swimmer and I was a member of a group of backpackers while I was studying my university career, hence my passion for hiking and sports. I am an enthusiastic speaker and I would love to share with you everything I know about my country and its culture and history.

We will start in the Plaza Mayor of Trinidad, we will cross from the historical - cultural center of the city to the peripheral neighborhoods of the upper part of the city and from there to the top of the La Vigía hill. From here we will have the opportunity to enjoy the spectacular 360 degree panoramic view of the region.
It was a great experience to go with a local! We were able to get inside the tower where other tourists were outside of the fence. The sunset was also beautiful! William was also very flexible and knowledgable about the culture and history of Cuba. I enjoyed the experience and all the information.

william ist wirklich ein schlaukopf. er weiss zu jeder frage die passenende und vor allem interessante antwort. wir haben uns 30 minuten vorab getroffen und hatten so zeit, noch ein bisschen abseits des pfads zu gehen.
klar kann da jeder auch alleine hoch laufen, aber dann ist es sicher nicht das gleiche wie mit william.

Some people do this walk alone but we really enjoyed doing this with a local expert who could share key pieces of information which made it so much more interesting. We appreciated the fast contact and super friendly nature of William and would highly recommend his company for any visitors to the Trinidad area.

Geweldige wandeling met prachtig uitzicht over het prachtige Trinidad. Het einddoel is de televisietoren boven Trinidad waar we wegens het contact van William naar binnen konden. Op deze plek hebben we genoten van een erg mooie zonsondergang.
In het donker naar beneden was een beetje spannend maar hebben we allemaal 'overleefd'.
