Sail on a yacht and feel the power of the wind. With a captain who's experienced in club racing championships, even beginners can enjoy this adventure. After we make our way out to the open water using motor power, we'll cut the engines and get ready to sail. Here you'll feel the charm of the quiet ocean. I'll teach you to adjust the sails and even steer the ship, too. It is exhilarating when this three-ton boat heels over, or tilts, in the wind. You will be able to look up at Yokohama Bay Bridge from underneath, a special perspective you can only get from a boat. We also sail in the winter.
Other things to note
Please bring sunscreen, a raincoat, and seasickness medication if required. The deck is slippery, so please bring sneakers or deck shoes.

About 30 years ago I started surfing, and discovered that my home was always out on the ocean. Then 10 years ago I tried sailing, and was instantly hooked. From this experience, I hope you learn to love it as much as I do. I am currently also studying English, so I look forward to practicing my speaking. I am sure you'll make special memories in Japan.

Tatsuyoshi was a great host and is a very good sailor. We had some challenging conditions but he handled the yatch well. I highly recommend for those looking for something a bit different to do when in Tokyo. Yokohama is also an interesting place to check out afterwards.

We had a great afternoon out on the waters of Yokohama Bay. It was cold and windy at times as we went during winter but this certainly made it a fun and exciting sailing experience! Definitely go on this experience if you like the outdoors and being on open water!

It’s a must go for anyone who travels around Tokyo. The overall experience is quite terrific. The location is at Yokohama just one hour trip from central Tokyo. Tatsuyoshi is a kind and warm-hearted host. He led his crew and me sail around Yokohama.

This trip was great! Tatsuyoshi was very kind and knowledgeable. He told me facts about the area and made sure I was comfortable and had plenty of snacks and drinks. I even got to steer :)
There was a mishap with Airbnb's app that it did not deliver my messages to him that I was a bit lost about the meeting point but he was understanding and accommodating and came to find me.
If you'd like a fun day out on the water, I highly recommend this experience.
