We'll meet at a pétanque court in a lovely setting in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin. We'll begin with an introduction to the game and then we'll dive right into the fun of playing it! Pétanque can be played individually, one against one, or in two teams of 2 or 3 people, so we can play it with any number of people up to 6. I'll provide the boules for playing, as well as some beverages and south-of-France snacks to enjoy together between games. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes and you'll be set to enjoy this fun and relaxing traditional Provençal past-time!

While living in California, I discovered people playing pétanque one day while walking through the park. Not long after, I joined the local pétanque group that played every week. I enjoyed it immensely and I even encouraged the rest of my family to play! When I relocated to another town the following year, I joined a pétanque group there. In 2015, I moved to Provençe, where it has been a favorite past-time for generations. I would like to share my enthusiasm for the game and offer you fun lessons while you're visiting this beautiful region of France!

We'll play at a public pétanque court in Roquebrune-Cap-Martin which is between Menton and Nice on the sunny Côte d'Azur. The court which is nicely landscaped with olive trees and benches is situated right next to a charming medieval village and has stunning views of both the mountains and sea! It's easy to access and there is plenty of available parking. While you're here, be sure to visit the town's castle!
