We will start the experience with an introduction of the history of Australia from its settling time, passing through South Australia Company and ending in McLaren Vale and Oxenberry Farm. We will see the Old heritage cottages and the modern cellardoor facility. (visit inside the different buildings will be subject of availabilities due to the current operations of the winery and hospitality venue). We will end our tour visiting the nearby Pedler Creek Vineyard and its wetlands and tasting some of the Oxenberry farm wines in a structured wine tasting accompanied by small nibbles.
I am a professional sommelier, food communication and hospitality manager with over 24 years of experience in the industry. I have been visiting and traveling 5 different countries for the last 10 years, and for the last two, I have been managing the Oxenberry Farm cellar-door and venue. I love to travel and food is for me cultural expression especially if is connected with the history of the place where it comes from. Oxenberry is the perfect example of that and it is now time for me to move into what I love the most communicating my passion.
Included in the experience there are some nibbles gently provided from the Cellar-Door
