We’ll start the tour the only way you can start your day in Melbourne - with a cup of the best coffee in the world at one of my favourite cafes. After that, we’ll walk around the city checking out the most important landmarks (as well as some cool laneways and a few hidden spots) and learn interesting stories behind them. We’ll stop at Queen Victoria Market where I’ll show you where to get the best local produce from the friendliest vendors - maybe that will inspire you to grab some beautiful cheeses, wine and fruits and have a picnic after the tour? Along the way, I’ll point out all restaurants, cafes and bars that you should visit to have the ultimate Melbourne experience. Don’t worry if you won’t remember them all, I’ll make sure to email you the list too.
I’m a food-loving, coffee-obsessed founder of a small tour company Gourmand Guide which offers tailor-made experiences in Melbourne and Victoria. I moved to Melbourne five years ago and haven’t stopped exploring its history, cafes, markets, bars and restaurants since. Let me lead you through the laneways of Melbourne where you will discover places adored by the locals and learn about the city I love as well as about its great coffee, food & wine culture.
Espresso, flat white, latte or Melbourne Magic? The choice is yours.
We'll visit one of Melbourne's best cafes where you'll get a coffee like a true Melburnian. We'll walk around the CBD area and finish the tour at the legendary Queen Victoria Market. Depending on the weather and ability of the group we may catch free city trams between some of the places.
